Non-Intrusive Load Monitoring System for Home Energy Applications

Zendure Inc.

We have developed a non-intrusive load monitoring algorithm and system, which has been tested and verified to accurately monitor the status and energy consumption of household appliances. This algorithm and system will be integrated into Zendure's cloud service products for home energy storage applications. The related software and hardware products are expected to be adopted by over 2,000 customer households across Europe and North America, generating significant economic benefits.

Software-Defined Energy Configuration for Edge AI Servers

AIMALL Inc.

We have developed a software-defined energy configuration method and system for edge AI, which has been tested and verified to enable flexible power configuration for AI servers and significantly improve power efficiency. The prototype system was deployed in February 2022 in the AI business server room of AIMALL and has been running stably for over 24 months, achieving a cumulative energy savings of more than 1,500 kilowatt-hours for the servers.

Low-Power Video Streaming Architecture Addressing Battery Anxiety

Tencent Inc.

We designed a low-power, low-video-streaming service architecture that innovatively incorporates mobile device battery anxiety into the design process. This approach effectively reduces users' low-battery anxiety while maintaining the quality of video streaming services, thereby improving user retention. This research was awarded the Tencent Rhino-Bird Fund Excellence Award (the highest honor of the Creative Fund) in 2020.
